Interlining
There is no denying the fact that Interlining is one kind
of accessories that is used between the two layers of fabric in a garment. To
keep the different component or part of apparel in a desired shape, a kind of
fabric is used between the two-ply of fabric by sewing or fusing is called
interlining plays pivotal role in apparel manufacturing. There are catalogue no
of reason so as to use the interlining in the fabric. It may be used as per
buyer requirement, internal standard of the facility. It has an array of amenities
with coupled of inconvenience. Basically, Interlining is very soft, thick &
flexible. Moreover, individuals are being benefited with the help of this
statement.
There are two types of interlining
1) Fusible interlining
2) Non-fusible interlining.
Fusible
interlining:
The interlining, which is used
between two layer of fabric by applying heat, pressure, time, temperature, glue
line as per data sheet of the supplier or internal standard of the facility is
called fusible interlining.
Advantage of Fusible interlining:
1) This process is very easy & applicable.
2) High productive.
3) This interlining is very easy to get from the market.
4) Fusible materials are very cheap.
Non-Fusible
interlining:
The interlining, which is used
between two layer of fabric by the sewing machine without applying heat, pressure,
time, temperature, glue line as per data sheet of the supplier or internal
standard of the facility is called Non-fusible interlining.
Non-fusing materials are used in
special case as exemplified flame retardant apparel, fire service dress. This
process is specially done by embroidery machine.
Function of the interlining:
1) To make the new shape of the garments.
2) It also supporting of the garments.
3) It is about to look lucrative, attractive & ensure good
quality of the apparel.
4) It also increase the garment’s performance.

37.2 Responsibility
37.2 Procedure
37.3 Reference
37.1 Purpose
: To ensure the fabric is
properly fused.
ü
To support the
garment.
ü
To control the shape
of the garment.
ü
To control the area of
the apparel.
ü
To reinforce the
components of the garment.
ü
To make the apparel
beautiful, strong and attractive.
37.2 Scope: This
is applicable in fusing section of Babylon group.
37.2 Responsibility: The respective Floor Quality in charge is
responsible for implementation of this
Process.
The respective Floor Maintenance Executive is responsible for checking &
Ensuring
required temperature, speed, pressure on fusing machine as per standard.
37.2 Procedure :
Fusing machine will be set according to data sheet (Temperature/Pressure/glue
line/Time). After setting the fusing machine, one pc is fused and
respective line .QA/QC will check whether the fusing is properly attached and
there are not burn marks on fabric. If the result is OK, the QA/QC in charge
approves the standard of temperature, pressure and speed for a particular
fabric and gives approval for bulk production. Fusing
Machine must be ‘check tested’ at least twice a day for time by stop watch and
glue line temperature with thermo strips (at least 2 thermo papers) & must
be recorded. Line maintenance checks the temperature, pressure, Speed.
Pressure and speed is recorded from the gages installed on fusing machine. Durability wash test will be carried out on each batch
and fused stock is held on
A ‘positive release system’ until wash test results are
confirmed. Fabric shrinkage and color change must be assessed for every fabric
batch/dye lot.
The
temperature is recorded using thermal paper as below:

Bond Test
38. 1 Purpose & Scope
38.2 Responsibility
38.3 Procedure
38.0 PURPOSE
AND SCOPE
38.0
To check the bonding strength of the fusing operation to ensure the
temperature, pressure & timing
Set
for the fusing m/c is appropriate for the operation.
38.0.1
This process is applicable to all the production units of Babylon group.
38.1 RESPONSIBILITY
38.1.0
The respective Quality in charge is responsible implementation and monitoring
of the process.
38.2 PROCEDURE
38.2
The bonding strength is checked using the spring balance and the result is used
for reference and
Comparison
against the required.
38.2.0
The test is done by following the simple steps as below:
38.2.1
Step 1:
38.2.1.1
Following the m/c direction or the warp direction, interlining is cut into 17cm
x 7
cm
38.2.1.2
The outer fabric is cut slightly bigger than the interlining to avoid the
Contamination
of the conveyer belt of fusing m/c
38.2.2 Step 2:
38.2.2.1 A small piece of fabric is inserted between
the outer fabric and the interlining is
Such a way that it is easy to pull.
38.2.2.2 The temperature strip is inserted with
reading face to fabric
38.2.3 Step 3: The specimen is passed thru the fusing
m/c with recommended temperature,
Pressure & time
38.2.4 Step 4: The temperature strip is taken out by
cutting alongside of the strip and the
Temperature is noted
38.2.5 Step 5: The specimen is cut in 5 cm width
38.2.6 Step 6:
38.2.6.1 The edge of the outer fabric is folded and stitched
to form a loop and the hook of
The spring balance is inserted inside the stitch
38.2.7 Step 7:
38.2.7.1 The fabric is laid flat on table holding down
the spring balance with one hand.
38.2.7.2 The small fabric is grasped with another hand
and pulled gently with moderate
Speed for about 10 cm.
38.2.7.3 The reading on the spring balance is noted as
Bonding Strength

Fusing Quality inspection
39.0 Purpose & scope: To check the cut panel quality
after fusing.
39.1 Responsibility: The quality in charge (facility) assigned for
fusing operation responsible for implementation of this Process. The floor
Quality in charge is responsible for monitoring of the process.
39.2 Procedure: Fusing Machine must be good Condition
.Fusing machine will set according to the data sheet .Fusing calibration must
be checked twice in a day by thermos strip paper &
Must be recorded .Fusing Bond test must be carried out order
wise & also keep the record.
Durability of wash test will be assessed for every lot
.Fusing machine must be calibrated internally & externally according to the
frequency .
The parts after fusing will check 100%
as per data sheet for the proper fusing quality. The Hourly production of the
fusing is counted and considered as the lot size. The assigned QC will perform
the 100 % quality Inspection and the defects found will be recorded. If the defects
part should be repaired & re-inspection again.

Conclusion: To sum up, I would prefer in order to depict that
without any hesitation I am in favor of this topic. I ponder that I have
illustrated with the help of this statement emphasize this entire.
